Where we are.

Where we have been.

Yeah!!!! I finally finished the quilt for our grandson, Hayden. I've been working on this quilt for over a year. I was beginning to think he would outgrow it before I finished.

Hayden kept asking when his quilt would be finished, so he was excited when I gave it to him.

We attended the air show in Jackson, Michigan with James, Christie and our grand son, Jackson. There will be more pictures on Picasa, soon. This is the most radical jet I have seen in a long time. It's a Raptor and it can just about turn 90% corners in the sky.... it was worth sitting out in the 90+ temp and scorching sun to see it perform.

The annual Fourth of July pig roast and pot luck at the Conservation Club.

Tables full of food and lots of good friends.

That night we had a live band in and they played up a storm with lots of dancing and singing to the 70's songs.

A floating home.

We are considering purchasing this River Queen to make a houseboat for Michigan in the summer. It is forty feet long and would provide us a cozy place to stay once it is rebuilt.

Another view of the side.

Another view.

The upper deck.

Inside of the boat, the view toward the bow of the boat; what a mess.

If we do purchase this boat, we (royal we) (IE: Rich) will have our work cut out for us.

Our friend Ken has the neatest toys. Rich learned how to use his "riding lawnmower". The dogs seemed to love danger chasing the lawnmower.

Lawnmower man!
